Stilnovo Demi Moon Transformative Optic Floor Lamp - Matt White

A softer glow for the corner of a room

The Demi Moon is a floor standing lamp pairing a semi spherical, laser engraved PMMA dome with a tall aluminium frame finished in matt white.

Matt white finish

Its shape comes from Mirco Crosatto's reading of the Pantheon's dome, scaled down for the corner of a room. A central ring within the frame hides the light source, while OptiLight Technology draws that light out evenly across the dome, so the shade looks plain and near transparent when off, then blooms into a soft, glowing sphere once switched on.

How it works

Push dimming lets you set the level of light to suit the moment, adjusted directly at the lamp.

Where it works best

It works well brightening a home office desk, softening a bedroom in the evening, or lighting a hallway or living room without the harshness of a standard lamp.

The story behind Stilnovo

Stilnovo was founded in Milan in 1946 by Bruno Gatta, and the OptiLight Technology in this lamp is a more recent example of the brand's continued engineering ambition.
