A dome built for a wall or a ceiling
The Demi 70cm is a wall or ceiling light built around a 700mm diameter dome of laser engraved PMMA, set within a die cast aluminium frame finished in matt white.
Matt white, 70cm
Mirco Crosatto's design takes its cue from the curved dome of the Pantheon. A discreet ring at the centre of the fitting conceals the light source, and Stilnovo's OptiLight Technology carries that light out across the entire dome, so it appears almost invisible when off and becomes a gently glowing sphere once switched on.
How it works
Rated IP40, it offers phase cut and DALI push dimming options, so it can be tuned to suit the mood of the room.
Where it works best
It sits flush against a wall or ceiling and works well as a statement piece in a living room, a soft wash of light above a bed, or a warm welcome in a hallway.
The story behind Stilnovo
Stilnovo was founded in Milan in 1946 by Bruno Gatta, and the OptiLight Technology behind Demi shows the brand still innovating within that founding tradition.
