Stilnovo Bugia 1 Light Wall Light - Yellow

The Stilnovo Bugia 1 Light Wall Light in Yellow is a single-arm wall fitting in iron and glass, taking one 4.5W E27 LED bulb and rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms.

The Bugia name and shape come from the traditional Italian bugia, a handheld candle holder with a looped handle for carrying it from room to room, reimagined here by designers Roberto Beretta and Antonio Macchi Cassia as a piece of electric lighting. In a warm yellow glass with amber undertones, it brings a genuinely sunny note to a hallway, dining room, living room or bedroom, and works well as a single fitting where a touch of colour is wanted rather than a whole scheme built around it.

Stilnovo's own story began in Milan in 1946, when founder Bruno Gatta set out to treat lighting as a meeting of engineering, art and architecture rather than simple manufacturing, an ethos the brand still holds to since its 2019 revival under Linea Light Group. This fitting doesn't dim, so it gives one reliable level of light whenever it's switched on.
