Stilnovo Bugia 1 Light Wall Light - Red

The Stilnovo Bugia 1 Light Wall Light in Red is a single-arm wall fitting in iron and glass, fitted with one 4.5W E27 LED bulb and carrying an IP20 rating for dry indoor rooms.

Roberto Beretta and Antonio Macchi Cassia designed the Bugia collection around the traditional Italian bugia, the candle holder once carried through the house by its looped handle, and in a bold red glass that nostalgic form turns into a genuine statement piece. It works particularly well as a focal point in a hallway or dining room, though it's equally at home in a living room or bedroom where a single splash of colour is welcome. The iron arm gives it a confident, sturdy stance against the wall.

Stilnovo was founded in Milan in 1946 by Bruno Gatta, and the brand went on to become one of the defining names of Italian Modernist lighting, spoken of in the same breath as Arredoluce and Arteluce. That heritage of precision manufacturing carries through to this fitting, which is not dimmable and delivers a fixed, even glow.
