Stilnovo Bugia 1 Light Wall Light - Mint Green

The Stilnovo Bugia 1 Light Wall Light in Mint Green is a single-arm wall fitting made from iron and glass, taking an E27 LED bulb of 4.5W and carrying an IP20 rating for dry indoor rooms.

Designed by Roberto Beretta and Antonio Macchi Cassia, the Bugia collection borrows its name and its looped handle from the traditional Italian bugia, the candle holder once carried from room to room before electric light existed. That nostalgic silhouette is softened here in a mint green glass diffuser, giving the piece a gentle, slightly retro character that reads as fresh rather than old fashioned. It sits well in a living room, bedroom, dining room or hallway, either alone or paired along a run of wall for a more rhythmic effect.

Stilnovo has been shaping Italian lighting since Bruno Gatta founded the company in Milan in 1946, and this piece carries that same instinct for treating a light fitting as a small piece of architecture. The light is not dimmable, so it delivers a consistent, even glow every time it's switched on.
