A Big, Bright Sensor Floodlight for Driveways and Courtyards
The Steinel XLED ONE XL Sensor in white is a powerful outdoor sensor floodlight and LED security light. Steinel lists it at 4400 lumens from 43.5W at 3000K warm white, with a 180 degree infrared sensor and a reach of 12 metres. It switches on when it detects movement and off again after a time you set. This is a large floodlight, 222mm wide x 259mm high x 215mm deep, so check the size against your wall or ceiling before ordering.
White Finish with a Tilting Head
The housing is white aluminium with a clear glass cover over a grid of warm white LEDs, and the sensor sits in the hinge below the lamp head. The head tilts through 180 degrees on its bracket, so it can be aimed along a drive or down at a doorstep, and the bracket suits both wall and ceiling fixing. Silver coloured end caps on the hinge give a neat contrast. Finish colour on screen can vary slightly from the real product.
How It Works
A passive infrared sensor detects movement over 180 degrees, with a reach of 12 metres. You set how long the light stays on, from 8 seconds to 35 minutes, and the twilight level it switches at, from 2 to 2000 lux, using two potentiometer dials on the unit. The best mounting height is 1.8 to 3 metres, with 2 metres ideal. The integrated Steinel LED system has a CRI of 80 to 89 and is not replaceable. It runs from a 230 to 240V, 50 to 60Hz mains supply and is a Class I fitting, so it must be earthed. It is rated IP44 and IK03. We always recommend a qualified electrician installs this fitting.

Steinel suggests it for courtyards and driveways, on a wall or a ceiling with surface wiring. It suits a garage front, a carport, a large patio or the side of a house where you want a wide, bright area to light up as soon as someone approaches.
