A Plain, Powerful Floodlight for Entrances and Courtyards

The Steinel LS 300 in white is a wall mounted outdoor LED floodlight with no motion sensor, so it works as a straightforward switched light. It gives 2962 lumens of 4000K neutral white light from 29.5W, enough for an outdoor security light over a front door, driveway or courtyard. It is a sizeable fitting at 184 x 213 x 218mm, so check the space on your wall before ordering.

White Aluminium with an Adjustable Head

The housing is white aluminium with a flat, frosted front cover over the LED panel. The head tilts on its bracket, 80 degrees horizontally and 150 degrees vertically, so you can aim the light at the area you want to cover. The Steinel name sits on the wall bracket, and the cable enters through the base. This is the white version, and Steinel also makes the same floodlight in black.

How It Works

This model has no sensor or timer. You switch it on and off from a wall switch, or you can pair it with a separate sensor or smart switch. The light source is an integrated Steinel LED system with a colour rendering of 80 to 89, so it is not a bulb you can change. It runs from a 220 to 240V mains supply at 50 to 60Hz and is a Class I fitting, which means it must be earthed. It is rated IP44 and IK03. Does the LS 300 have a motion sensor? No. This version has no sensor, so you turn it on and off with a switch. Steinel sells a separate LS 300 S model with a sensor built in.
