A Powerful Outdoor LED Floodlight for Entrances and Courtyards
The Steinel LS 300 in black is a wall mounted outdoor LED floodlight that gives 2962 lumens from 29.5W of neutral white light at 4000K. This version has no motion sensor, so it is switched on and off from a switch, like any other fixed outdoor light. It suits an entrance, courtyard, driveway or garden wall where you want strong, steady lighting rather than a light that reacts to movement.
Black Aluminium with a Swivelling Head
The housing is aluminium in a matt black finish, with a flat glass front over a bright panel of LEDs and a Steinel logo on the wall base. The head swivels 80 degrees horizontally and 150 degrees vertically, so you can point the beam at a door, a path or a car parking space. Steinel also makes this model in white, and with a sensor as the LS 300 S.
How It Works
The LED light source is built in, with a CRI of 80 to 89, and it is not replaceable. Because there is no sensor, there are no dials to set: the light is on whenever the switch is on. It runs from a 220 to 240V mains supply at 50 to 60Hz, is a Class I fitting, and is rated IP44 and IK03, so it is protected against splashing water from any direction. Where It Works Best
Steinel suggests it for outdoor use all round the building: gardens, courtyards and driveways, terraces and balconies, and multi storey or underground car parks. It is fixed to a wall with surface wiring.
