How It Works

Wattage and colour temperature are both switched manually at the fitting, giving roughly 240 lumens at 3W and around 580 lumens at 6.5W, spread through a 120 degree beam with even 360 degree distribution from the head. Running it needs a compatible driver, such as Collingwood's DRV350700TD, which will power 2 to 4 of these fittings at 350mA or 500mA, or 1 to 2 at 700mA, and the same driver handles mains dimming where that is wanted. The cable exits just below the head through a water ingress protected connector, and the spike can be pushed further into the soil past that entry point if a bed needs the head sitting lower than the standard height.
