The Square 40 takes the straight edged stance of the Rusty range and leaves the lamp choice open, so you decide the exact warmth and output rather than being locked to a fixed LED. It is the same weathered steel character with a socket built in for flexibility.

Where It Sits in the Rusty Family

This is the E27 version of the Square 40, standing alongside the LED equipped Square 40 as a direct sibling, and sharing its 40cm height with the round Rusty 40 while trading the cylinder for square corners. A taller Square 70 also exists in the wider range for the same look at greater height.

How It Works

SLV treats the FeCSi steel body with a controlled chemical process that produces a genuine rust surface, protecting the metal beneath from further corrosion. It takes a single E27 lamp up to 11W, not included, sits behind a polycarbonate diffuser, and is rated IP55 with protection class II, giving a direct and indirect asymmetric spread of light. It runs from a 230V supply.

Where It Works Best

Its squared profile suits contemporary or formally laid out gardens, standing well along straight paved edges, either side of a front door, or marking the corners of a raised deck or terrace.
