A single lamp holder sits behind the acrylic diffuser, rated up to 18W, so you fit a compatible lamp of your choice rather than being tied to a sealed light source. Once wired into a 230 to 240V mains supply, light spreads out through all three outlets at once, giving a gentle glow rather than a single directional beam.
