The Up/Down Wall Light is offered in this cooler Silver Grey and in a deeper Anthracite. Silver Grey suits pale stone, render or brushed metalwork, catching the light itself during the day rather than fading into the background. For a darker, more recessive look pick the Anthracite version instead. If you only need light in one direction, the plain Big Theo Wall Light shares the same aluminium and glass construction without the second socket.

How It Works

Two GU10 sockets sit within the housing, one aimed up and one aimed down, each taking a QPAR111 reflector lamp of up to 75W, 150W maximum for the pair. The two cones are equal in size and intensity, so the effect either side of the fixture reads as balanced rather than lopsided. It wires directly into a 230 to 240V mains supply and carries an IP44 rating for outdoor use.

Where It Works Best

Best used in pairs flanking something, a front door, a garage opening, a pair of gateposts, where the matching up and down cones read as a deliberate frame rather than a single spot of light. It also works well spaced along a boundary wall for a rhythmic run of light and shadow.
