How It Works

A single integrated LED sits behind the glass, wired to a built in driver for direct 230 to 240V mains connection. It draws 21W and outputs 2000 lumens at a warm 3000K, with a 24 degree beam angle (CRI80), all directed downward rather than split between two cones. There is no lamp to buy or change, and the aluminium and glass body is IP44 rated for outdoor exposure.

Where It Works Best

Ideal above a doorway, garage or gate where you want the ground and threshold lit clearly without any light thrown up the wall or into upstairs windows. It also suits boundary walls and courtyards where a simple, glare free downward wash is more useful than a decorative up and down effect.

Does this light shine upward at all? No, this version directs all of its light downward in one wide flood, so there is no upward spill onto the wall or into upstairs windows.

Do I need to change a bulb at some point? There is no bulb to change here. The LED is built into the fixture, so once it is wired in you can simply leave it be.
