Crisp Light at the Threshold
The white finish is the brightest option in the outdoor Astina Up & Down family, built to sit against pale render or modern facades while sending matching cones of light up and down the wall after dark.
Picking Your Finish
White suits contemporary builds, pale brick and rendered extensions particularly well, staying close in tone to the wall behind it in daylight. The same body is also available in Anthracite, for a deep charcoal tone that recedes into darker walls, and in a brushed Aluminium finish for a more metallic look. Construction and output are the same across all three.
How It Works
The cast aluminium body holds two GU10 lamp holders, each behind its own glass cover that spreads the light into a soft, even cone rather than a hard beam, positioned to throw light both up and down the wall. It is rated for GU10 halogen lamps up to 11W per socket, halogen or LED retrofit, and connects directly to the mains supply. With an IP44 rating it is built for exterior walls exposed to rain.
Where It Works Best
Fit it either side of a front door, along a garden boundary wall or up a set of exterior steps, where the paired beams help mark a safe route after dark. Against pale render or white painted brick it holds its line by day far better than the darker Anthracite finish, which shows more clearly against light walls.
