Where the rest of the Astina outdoor range is painted aluminium, this version is made entirely from stainless steel, a genuinely different material rather than just another colour option. It gives the same two beam up and down effect but with a brushed metal finish designed to shrug off years of outdoor exposure.

Picking Your Finish

This is the only Astina wall light in the range finished in real Stainless Steel 304, so there is no colour choice to make here, only a decision between this and the painted aluminium Up & Down Outdoor Wall Light available in Anthracite, brushed Aluminium or White if you would prefer a lighter or darker painted look instead.

How It Works

Two GU10 lamp holders sit within the solid stainless steel body, each behind its own glass cover angled to throw a symmetrical cone of light up and down the wall. It is rated for GU10 halogen lamps up to 35W per socket, considerably more headroom than the painted aluminium version, or an LED GU10 retrofit for a cooler running, lower energy setup. With an IP44 rating it is built for exterior walls exposed to rain, and connects directly to the mains.

Where It Works Best

Its solid metal build and higher lamp wattage suit more demanding installations, entrances that see constant weather, coastal properties, or anywhere a painted finish might eventually chip or fade. The compact, dense body also reads as noticeably more substantial in the hand than the aluminium bodied Astina outdoor lights.
