An Angular Head Built To Spread Light Wide
Most wall lights aim a single beam at a single spot. The Abridor's angled head is shaped specifically to throw its LED light across a much wider area, so one fixture covers more wall, path or step than its size suggests.
Choosing Your Finish
This version comes in anthracite, a matt charcoal that suits contemporary render, brick and stone equally well. SLV also makes a version of this same body with a built in motion sensor, useful if you want the fixture to respond to movement rather than stay on a timer or manual switch.
How It Works
A 12W integrated LED delivers roughly 950 to 980 lumens with a colour temperature switchable between 3000K and 4000K, so you choose warmer or cooler white at installation. SLV describes the lamp head's shape as giving the light an unusually wide 100 degree spread, and the whole head tilts through 90 degrees so you can angle it exactly where you need it. It wires directly into a 230 to 240V mains supply and is rated IP55 for outdoor use.
Where It Works Best
The wide spread suits steps, paths and longer stretches of wall where a narrow spotlight would leave dark patches between fixtures. Angle the head down for a path or level for a wall wash, the tilting mechanism means one fixture adapts to more than one job.

Can the colour temperature be changed? Yes, the 12W LED is switchable between 3000K and 4000K, so you can choose a warmer or cooler white to suit the wall it's lighting.
How does this differ from the sensor version SLV also makes? This model stays on however it's switched or timed, whereas the sensor version reacts to movement automatically.
