Searchlight Wave Pendant Convertible to Flush - Black

The Wave pendant is a striking piece of wire sculpture as much as it is a light source. A single run of steel wire fans out from the fitting into an asymmetric, wing like shade, letting light spill out through dozens of narrow gaps rather than one flat pool. It is designed to be adjusted after installation, dropping down as a pendant or drawn up close to the ceiling to sit almost flush.

This version is finished in a deep matt black that keeps the wire frame looking graphic against a pale ceiling or wall, and lets the exposed bulb do the work of casting shadow patterns around the room. The black cable and ceiling rose keep the fitting understated, so the shade itself stays the focus.
