A Sculptural Copper Drop
The Vulcan pendant has a distinctive shape, narrow at the top and swelling out into a rounded dome before tapering back in at the base, all finished in a warm, reflective copper. At 26cm across, this larger version makes a confident single statement rather than disappearing into the room.
Materials and Finish
The shade is made from steel and aluminium, finished in a polished copper that catches the light and gives off a warm metallic glow when lit. The finish is smooth rather than textured, so reflections along the curve of the shade are part of the look.
How It Works
It takes a single 60W E27 GLS bulb, not included, and the fitting works with dimmable bulbs if you want to dial the light down in the evening. As a Class I fixture it needs to be earthed and connected by a qualified electrician. The drop height is adjustable up to a maximum of 160cm, so it can be set to suit a high ceiling or hung low and close over a table.
