A Classic Caged Lantern for the Front Door
The Searchlight Tarlton brings a traditional nautical style to an entrance or porch, its black frame wrapping a clear glass shade in a caged silhouette borrowed from ship deck lighting.
Materials and Finish
Cast from aluminium and finished in black, the Tarlton pairs a sloped hood with a clear glass panel held inside a curved metal cage, giving the light a solid, weatherproof feel without looking heavy on the wall.
How It Works
It takes a single E27 bulb, which is not included, and is not dimmable. The fitting is Class I, so it must be earthed, and installation should always be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Where It Works Best
Rated IP44, the Tarlton is built for sheltered outdoor spots such as a covered porch, a front door surround or a side passage where it will be protected from direct rain.
