An Understated Drop for Kitchen Islands
Finished entirely in black, this version of the Talbot pendant keeps the same textile cable suspension but drops the chrome for a quieter, more understated look. The black cable and fitting blend into a dark ceiling or stand out against a pale one, and the exposed bulb keeps the design simple and honest.
Materials and Finish
Made from mild steel and aluminium, the fitting and cable are both finished in matte black from top to bottom.
How It Works
A single 60W E27 GLS bulb is required, not included, which means you choose your own bulb shape and warmth. The pendant works with dimming, either through an external dimmer switch or by using LED dimmable bulbs. The textile cable is adjustable to a maximum drop of 300cm, so it can be set to suit different ceiling heights. This is a Class I fixture and needs to be earthed, so fitting by a registered NICEIC electrician is recommended.
