The Swizzle table lamp turns a bedside or console light into a small sculptural object. A cage of smoked glass rods sits on a slim matt black stem and base, so it holds its own on a shelf or side table even switched off. Turned on, the exposed bulb glows through the rods and casts fine vertical shadows across whatever surface it sits on, more like a piece of lit glasswork than a conventional shade.

The base, stem and rod holder are finished in a matt black that sits comfortably against darker interiors and reads as a more graphic, moodier take on the Swizzle design. The smoked glass rods soften the visible filament rather than diffusing it fully, so the bulb itself stays part of the look. At 37.5cm tall with a 15cm wide shade on a 12cm diameter base, it is compact enough for a bedside table without taking over the surface.
