A cage of champagne tinted glass rods sits on a slim gold stem and base, so it holds its own on a shelf or side table even switched off. Turned on, the exposed bulb glows through the rods and casts fine vertical shadows across whatever surface it sits on, more like a piece of lit glasswork than a conventional shade.

The base, stem and rod holder are finished in a brushed gold that pairs naturally with brass, marble and warm wood tones. The champagne tinted glass rods add a warm amber cast to the light itself.
