The 40cm Swizzle pendant takes the same idea as its smaller sibling, a dense ring of smoked glass rods around a matt black frame, and gives it a much bigger stage. At double the diameter, it reads as a genuine centrepiece rather than an accent, with enough presence to anchor a dining table or a generous kitchen island on its own.

The frame is finished in matt black, and the smoked glass rods run the full circumference of the shade, softening and scattering the light from the single bulb inside rather than exposing it directly. The wider diameter means more rods and a denser, more dramatic shadow pattern than the smaller pendant. It works well alongside black metal furniture, warm wood tones and other smoked or tinted glassware.

• Takes 1 x E27 bulb, sold separately. Around 6W LED (60W incandescent equivalent) is the closest match to the fixture's original design
• Shade measures 40cm in diameter and 26cm in height
• Suspension cable is adjustable, with a maximum drop of 120cm
• Works with a dimmer switch, provided the bulb and dimmer are both dimmable and compatible with each other
• Fixed to the ceiling via a matt black round plate, with all fixings included
