A Warmer Take on the Flush Ceiling Light

The Sweden 1 Light Flush in mocha and amber brings a warmer palette to the same clean silhouette as the black version. A mocha metal ceiling plate holds a cylindrical amber glass shade, so the light that comes through has a golden, honeyed cast rather than the cooler tone you would get from clear or smoked glass.

The metalwork is finished in a warm mocha brown rather than black, and the glass shade carries an amber tint that deepens toward the top. Together they suit rooms built around warm woods, brass and terracotta tones, and work well as a softer alternative to black fittings.

How It Works

• Takes a single E27 bulb (not supplied). We would suggest around 6W LED (60W incandescent equivalent) for a similar brightness to the traditional bulb this fixture was designed around.
• Dimmable, as long as you use dimmable LED bulbs with a compatible dimmer switch.
• Class II construction, so it does not need an earth connection.
• Fits flush to the ceiling with no visible chain or drop, at 26cm high and 22cm in diameter.

Rated IP20, so it suits dry indoor rooms such as hallways, living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and kitchens. The warm amber glow makes it a good match for snugs, reading corners and hallways where you want a softer light than a plain white shade would give.
