The Searchlight Stirling 3 light multi drop pendant gathers three smoked glass shades at staggered heights, finished in black for a striking cluster effect above a table or in a stairwell. This is a genuinely large fixture, with a drop that adjusts from 35cm up to 150cm and a total weight of 5.6kg, so it is worth checking these measurements and your ceiling fixing before ordering.
Materials and Finish
Made from mild steel and glass, it's finished in black with smoked glass shades over each of the three lights. Smoked glass reads almost black when the lights are off and takes on a warmer, amber toned glow once lit, and colour can also look slightly different on screen depending on your device, so bear that in mind when picturing it in your space.
How It Works
It takes three E27 bulbs (not supplied) and is dimmable when used with dimmable bulbs and a suitable LED dimmer such as a V-Pro rotary dimmer switch. The drop height of each shade is adjustable to suit your ceiling. It is a Class II, double insulated fixture, so no earth connection is needed. As with any hardwired ceiling fitting, it should always be installed by a qualified electrician.

Its multi drop design suits dining rooms, hallways and stairwells, where staggered heights add visual interest over a table or over a run of stairs. Because it is a larger fixture with a generous drop, it works best where there is good headroom and a clear view from below, rather than in a low ceilinged room.
