The Sleek table lamp is built around one continuous shape: a wide, flattened oval that runs through both the base and the shade. Rendered entirely in matte black, it reads more like a piece of sculpture than a conventional lamp, with a silhouette that stays interesting whether it's switched on or off.
This black on black version pairs a matte black metal oval base with a matching black cotton oval shade. The pale lining inside the shade takes the edge off the dark fabric, so the light that escapes is warm and diffused rather than harsh.
