Searchlight Selborne 20 Light Multi-Drop Pendant - Chrome, Clear Crystal

A Spiralling Cascade of Twenty Crystal Drops

The Selborne scatters twenty small lights down a chrome frame in a loose spiral, each one finished with a clear crystal drop, creating a shower of light that suits a space with real height to fill. The fitting spans 48cm wide and can extend up to 180cm in drop, so it is built to make an impact in a tall stairwell or over a large dining table.

Materials and Finish

Made from mild steel and glass, finished in chrome, with clear crystal drops on each of the twenty lights. Faceted crystal like this catches and scatters far more light once it is switched on, so the sparkle you see in a lit photo can look quite different from the fitting unlit, and colours can render slightly differently again on a screen.

How It Works

It comes supplied with 20 x 1.5W max G4 LED bulbs, running at 852 lumens with a warm white 3000K colour temperature. It is not dimmable, and the drop pattern is fixed rather than adjustable. This is a Class II, double insulated fitting. Installation should always be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Where It Works Best

This is a fitting for a room with height, a stairwell, galleried landing or a dining room with a high ceiling, where the spiral of crystal drops has room to cascade properly.

Questions People Ask

Will the Selborne fit my stairwell or ceiling height?
The spiral of lights extends up to 180cm and is 48cm wide, so it needs a genuinely tall space, such as a stairwell or a room with a high or double height ceiling, to hang properly.

Are the bulbs included with the Selborne?
Yes, it comes supplied with all 20 G4 LED bulbs, each rated at 1.5W maximum.

Is the Selborne dimmable?
No, it runs at a fixed brightness of 852 lumens across all twenty lights.

Is the Selborne heavy? Do I need a special ceiling fixing?
It weighs 11kg, so it is worth checking that your ceiling rose or fixing point is rated to support that weight before installation.

Will the crystal drops look the same as in the photos?
Faceted crystal catches and scatters more light once it is switched on, so the sparkle can look different lit compared with unlit, and screens can render colour and shine slightly differently again. If you would like more detail before ordering, our customer service team is happy to help.
