A Sculptural Tangle of Chrome

The Scribble pendant looks like a length of chrome wire that's been scrunched into a ball and left exactly as it fell. Dozens of diamond cut aluminium loops cross and double back on themselves, catching and scattering light from the six bulbs hidden inside. It reads as a piece of sculpture as much as a light fitting, and works as a striking single feature over a table or in an otherwise plain space.

Every loop is finished in polished chrome with a diamond cut facet along its length, so the tangle catches light from multiple angles as you move around it. The aluminium tubing is finished with a mild steel fitting at the ceiling rose. Because the whole shade is open rather than enclosed, the six small bulbs glow through the gaps rather than behind a solid shade, giving a sparkling, layered look rather than a single even glow.
