A Focused Wash of Light for Art and Photography
The Searchlight Raleigh 405mm Picture Light in satin brass is designed to wash light gently over artwork or a favourite photograph, adding a warm focal point to a wall without overpowering the room.

Made from mild steel, aluminium and acrylic, finished in satin brass.
How It Works
It has a 1 x 9.1W integrated LED producing 399 lumens at a warm 3000K colour temperature, controlled via a gold rocker switch on the fixture itself. It isn't dimmable or adjustable. This is a Class I fixture that requires an earth connection. As with all hardwired lighting, it should always be installed by a qualified electrician.
Where It Works Best
A good choice for living rooms, dining rooms, hallways and home offices, particularly above artwork, mirrors or shelving where directional picture lighting is useful.

Can I dim this picture light?
No. The Raleigh 405mm Picture Light has a fixed 399 lumen output with no dimming function, controlled only by the gold rocker switch on the fixture.
Can I install this myself?
No. This is a hardwired fixture, and installation should always be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Is the LED replaceable if it stops working?
No. The LED is integrated into the fixture rather than fitted as a separate bulb, so the whole light is covered by Searchlight's 5 year warranty rather than the LED being swapped out on its own.
Can I use this light in a bathroom or outdoors?
No. It is rated IP20, which means it is designed for dry indoor spaces only and isn't suitable for bathrooms or outdoor use.
What size artwork does this suit?
At 40.5cm wide, it works well centred above a single medium to large picture or mirror, or a small grouped arrangement, rather than a very wide statement piece.
