A Focused Picture Light for Artwork and Photographs
The Searchlight Raleigh 405mm Picture Light in black gives artwork, mirrors or framed photographs an even, focused wash of light without drawing attention to the fitting itself.
Materials and Finish
Made from mild steel, aluminium and acrylic, finished in black.
How It Works
It has a 1 x 8.9W integrated LED producing 342 lumens at a warm 3000K colour temperature, controlled via a black rocker switch on the fixture itself. It isn't dimmable or adjustable. This is a Class I fixture, which means it requires an earth connection. As with any hardwired fitting, we recommend installation by a qualified electrician.

Suits living rooms, dining rooms, hallways and home offices, especially mounted above artwork or shelving where you want a dedicated picture light rather than general room lighting.

Is the Searchlight Raleigh picture light dimmable?
No. This fitting has a fixed integrated LED and is not dimmable or adjustable.
Can I replace the bulb if it stops working?
No, the LED is integrated into the fixture rather than a separate replaceable bulb. The whole unit is covered by a 5 year warranty.
Can I install this light myself?
We recommend installation by a qualified electrician for all hardwired fittings like this one. It is a Class I fixture, which means it needs an earth connection.
Is this picture light suitable for a bathroom?
No. It is IP20 rated, which means it is designed for dry indoor rooms only and is not suitable for bathrooms or other humid spaces.
How far does the light project from the wall?
The fixture is 40.5cm wide and projects 19cm out from the wall, with a body height of 10cm, making it a compact fit above most artwork or mirrors.
