The Paley chandelier gathers twelve candle style arms around an antique brass frame hung with clear crystal drops, built as a genuine centrepiece rather than a supporting light. Materials and Finish

The frame is mild steel finished in antique brass, with clear crystal drops and glass drip pans beneath each of the twelve candle style arms. The combination of warm metal and faceted crystal gives it a traditional, formal look. The crystal catches the light differently once the bulbs are lit compared with how it looks switched off, and screens vary in how they render its sparkle and the exact tone of the antique brass, so treat photographs as a guide rather than an exact match.

How It Works

Paley takes twelve 60W E14 candle bulbs, which are not included, and is dimmable when fitted with dimmable candle bulbs. This is a Class I fitting, which requires earthing. It should always be installed by a qualified, registered electrician. The drop height is adjustable via the chain, so it can be set to suit different ceiling heights.

Where It Works Best

Its scale suits living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways with generous proportions, ideally over a dining table or in a double height stairwell where its full drop can be appreciated. It's not a fitting for a low or narrow room, it needs space around it to read as a centrepiece rather than a hazard.

Will the Paley chandelier fit a standard height ceiling?
It's designed for rooms with generous ceiling height. At up to 140cm from ceiling to the lowest crystal drop, it needs enough clearance to hang properly without crowding the space beneath it.

Can I shorten the drop?
Yes. The chain allows the drop height to be adjusted, so it can be set closer to the ceiling in a lower room.
