A Cascading Flush Light With Sparkle for Lower Ceilings
The Newton is a 3 light flush ceiling fitting in chrome, with tiers of chrome rings and faceted acrylic drops cascading below a slim ceiling plate. It sits close to the ceiling, so it works well in rooms where a hanging pendant would sit too low.
Materials and Finish
The frame and ceiling plate are mild steel finished in chrome. The rings and ball shaped drops that cascade beneath it are acrylic, cut to catch and reflect the light in a similar way to cut crystal.
How It Works
Takes 3 x E14 candle LED bulbs, up to 7W each (not supplied), and is dimmable when used with suitable dimmable bulbs. This is a Class I fixture and requires earthing. As with all hardwired ceiling lights, we recommend installation by a qualified electrician.
Where It Works Best
A flush ceiling light for the living room, kitchen, bedroom, dining room or hallway, particularly suited to rooms with lower ceilings where a low profile fitting is needed. Its layered chrome and acrylic detail gives a bit of sparkle without the drop of a full pendant or chandelier.
