The Searchlight Mela 2 Light Outdoor Wall Light with Sensor is a compact stainless steel wall light built for porches, entrances and other outdoor spaces where automatic lighting is useful. Two light sources and a built in sensor mean it switches on as needed, making it a practical outdoor wall light with sensor for everyday use.
Materials and finish
The fixture is made from stainless steel with an aluminium finish, giving it a clean, modern look that resists the weather well.
How it works
It takes GU10 LED bulbs, which are not included, and is not dimmable. As a Class I fitting, it needs to be earthed and should be installed by a qualified electrician. The built in sensor switches the light on automatically when it detects movement, so there's no need for a separate switch nearby.
Where it works best
With an IP44 rating, this wall light is designed for sheltered outdoor spots such as porches, front doors and covered entrances, where it doubles as a security feature and a welcoming light with sensor triggered convenience.
