The Searchlight Mela is a modern 2 light outdoor wall light with a built in motion sensor, finished in silk black with glass detailing. It's designed as a practical porch or entrance light that switches on automatically when it detects movement.
Materials and finish
The fixture is made from stainless steel in a silk black finish, paired with glass diffusers over each light.
How it works
It takes GU10 LED bulbs, not included, and isn't dimmable. The built in motion sensor triggers the light automatically when someone approaches, which is useful for porches, driveways and side passages. It's a Class I fixture, so it needs to be earthed and installed by a qualified electrician.
Where it works best
With an IP44 rating and motion sensor, the Mela works well as an outdoor wall light with PIR sensor by a front door, porch or driveway, lighting the way automatically as you approach.
