The Searchlight Maddrel pairs the traditional look of a black outdoor lantern with a built in motion sensor, so it switches on automatically as someone walks into range.

Materials and Finish

The body is cast aluminium finished in black, with clear glass panelling on the sides so light spreads outward rather than staying trapped inside the shade.

How It Works

It takes a single E27 bulb, which isn't included, and it isn't dimmable. The integrated PIR sensor detects movement nearby and turns the light on automatically, then off again once the area is clear. This is a Class I fitting, which means it needs to be earthed. We always recommend having any hardwired light like this installed by a qualified electrician.
