The Searchlight Lance 440mm Gesture Control Pendant is a compact circular ring light in a warm gold metal finish with an opal acrylic diffuser, suited to smaller kitchens, dining spaces and home offices.

How It Works
It has an integrated LED (28.65W, up to 551 lumens) that is colour switchable between 2700K, 3000K and 4000K, controlled and dimmed by gesture control. This is a Class II double insulated fixture. As with any hardwired ceiling light, it should be installed by a qualified electrician. The suspension cable is adjustable, so the ring can be set anywhere up to a maximum drop of 190cm from the ceiling plate.

How does the gesture control work?
You wave your hand near the underside of the ring to turn the light on or off, dim it, and switch between the three colour temperatures, all without a separate remote or wall switch.
Can I change the colour temperature?
Yes. The integrated LED switches between 2700K warm white, 3000K soft white and 4000K cool white, so you can match the light to the room or the task at hand.
Does this pendant need to be installed by an electrician?
Yes. This is a hardwired ceiling fitting and should always be installed by a qualified electrician, whatever its electrical class.
Can I adjust how low the pendant hangs?
Yes. The suspension cable can be adjusted so the ring hangs anywhere up to a maximum drop of 190cm from the ceiling, which makes it flexible for rooms with higher or lower ceilings.
Is this pendant suitable for a bathroom?
No. This pendant has an IP20 rating, meaning it is designed for dry indoor spaces only, such as a kitchen, dining room or home office. It should not be installed in a bathroom or anywhere it could be exposed to moisture.
