A Warm Wood Bar of Light

The Kenzie LED Pendant takes the shape of a slim, rounded plank and turns it into a light source, running a soft LED strip along its full 120cm length behind a white acrylic diffuser. Suspended on two fine cables from a matching wood canopy, it reads more like a piece of furniture than a light fitting, which is exactly the point above a dining table or kitchen island.

The Ash Wood Finish

This version is finished in natural ash wood, with the grain left visible along the full length of the pendant rather than painted over. The pale, warm tone works well against white or light grey cabinetry, and pairs naturally with other wood furniture in a Scandinavian inspired dining or kitchen space. The white acrylic diffuser runs along the underside, so the wood itself stays the visible surface from every normal viewing angle.

Where It Works Best

Its long, low profile suits a dining table or kitchen island where you want light spread along the whole surface rather than pooled under one central point. As an IP20 fitting it's intended for dry indoor rooms such as the kitchen, dining room, living room, bedroom or hallway, not bathrooms.
