The Houston is a compact aluminium wall light built for exterior walls that need light thrown both up and down at once. Its square profile and matte black finish keep the look understated, so it reads as architectural hardware rather than a stand out fixture.

This version is finished in matte black aluminium, with clear polycarbonate lenses at the top and bottom where the light escapes. The black finish suits modern brick, render and timber cladding alike, and pairs well with black door furniture, house numbers and other exterior black metalwork.

How It Works

• Fitted with two GU10 bulb holders, one facing up and one facing down, for a double wash of light along the wall
• Takes GU10 bulbs, up to 10W each; bulbs are not supplied
• Fixed via a side mounted wall plate, with cabling entering from behind, for a flush finish against the wall
• Wired to Class I standards, so it must be properly earthed on installation

Where It Works Best

Good either side of a front door, along a garden wall, or spaced out down a side passage where you want a consistent run of up and down lighting. As a black outdoor wall light with a compact 8cm width, it also suits narrower piers and porch columns where a bulkier fixture wouldn't fit.

Can I use LED bulbs in the Houston wall light?
Yes. It takes GU10 bulbs, up to 10W each, and an LED GU10 is the natural choice for this fixture. Bulbs are not supplied.

Does it light upward and downward at the same time?
Yes. It has two separate GU10 holders, one aimed up and one aimed down, so both beams run whenever it's switched on.

Is the Houston wall light suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. It's rated IP44, which protects it against rain and splashing water when fitted on an exterior wall.
