A Long Linen Drum for Wide Tables

The Hessian pendant stretches the same natural linen drum shade out to 60cm long, hung from a black rectangular ceiling plate on three adjustable cables. Rather than a single pool of light, it throws an even band along the length of a table, which makes it a natural fit above dining tables and kitchen islands.

The oval shade is made from the same textured natural linen as the rest of the Hessian range, on a black metal frame. Three E27 bulb holders sit inside the shade in a row, each on its own cable, so the drop height at each end can be adjusted independently to help the pendant hang level.

How many bulbs does the Hessian pendant need?

It takes 3 E27 GLS bulbs, each around 6W LED or the equivalent of a 60W incandescent bulb. The bulbs are not supplied.

Can I adjust the height of the Hessian pendant?

Yes, each of the three suspension cables can be adjusted individually, up to a maximum drop of 120cm, which also helps you level the pendant if your ceiling isn't perfectly flat.

Is the Hessian pendant dimmable?

It can be dimmed, but only if you fit dimmable LED bulbs and use it with a compatible dimmer switch. With standard bulbs or a standard switch it will not dim.
