A Chandelier Made of Glass Droplets

The Heritage 10 light diner bar pendant hangs dozens of clear glass droplets from a branching gold frame, so the fitting reads more like a cluster of icicles than a conventional light. It is a big, sculptural piece meant to be seen from across the room, whether that room is a dining space, a hallway or an open plan kitchen.

Gold Frame With Clear Glass

The frame is finished in gold metal, with individual branches reaching out to hold the glass droplets at slightly different heights. Ten G9 bulbs sit among the glass, so when it is switched on the light catches and scatters through dozens of facets rather than coming from one obvious source.

Where It Works Best

Its width of 117cm and the number of droplets make it a natural fit above a dining table or a run of kitchen island seating, where it has room to spread out. It also works well suspended over a hallway or landing where you want a genuine visual centrepiece rather than a purely functional light.

How many bulbs does this pendant need?
It needs 10 G9 bulbs in total, all sold separately. We would suggest LED bulbs of around 3W each, which give a similar brightness to the old 33W halogen G9 bulbs.

Is this pendant dimmable?
Yes, but only if it is fitted with dimmable G9 bulbs and used with a compatible dimmer switch. Standard non dimmable bulbs will not dim even on a dimmer circuit.

Can I adjust how low it hangs?
Yes. The drop is adjustable, with a maximum height of 150cm from the ceiling plate to the bottom of the glass droplets, so it can be set to suit different ceiling heights.

Is the glass real glass or acrylic?
The droplets are real glass, which is why they catch and scatter the light from the bulbs rather than looking flat.
