A Layered Beehive of Gold Leaf and Black Steel
The Hankin pendant stacks five black rimmed discs, each lined in gold leaf, into a layered beehive silhouette that throws a warm glow out through the gaps between each ring. It reads as sculptural as much as functional, and works as a statement piece rather than a light you hang and forget about.
Materials and Finish
The frame is built from mild steel and aluminium, finished in black with gold leaf detailing lining the inside of each disc.
How It Works
Light comes from an integrated LED source built into the fitting, which is not replaceable but delivers 876 lumens at a warm 2700K colour temperature, close to the glow of a traditional bulb. It is dimmable, and the drop is adjustable up to a maximum height of 140cm to suit your ceiling. This is a Class II, double insulated fixture, and as a hardwired ceiling pendant, we would recommend having it installed by a registered NICEIC electrician.
