This pack of 10 G9 LED capsule bulbs from Searchlight gives you a warm 3000K white light for any fitting that takes the small G9 capsule format, from chandeliers to wall lights and multi arm fixtures. Each bulb is dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer switch, so you can adjust the mood in the room rather than being stuck with one brightness.
Materials and Finish
Each capsule is built from aluminium and plastic, keeping the bulb compact and lightweight so it sits neatly inside small fittings without adding visible bulk.
How It Works
Every bulb in the pack is a 3W G9 LED rated at 291 lumens and 3000K, giving a soft warm white light rather than a cool white or daylight tone. The G9 LED chip runs cooler and more efficiently than an old halogen capsule of the same size, while still fitting the same G9 socket. It is dimmable, but only when used with a dimmer switch rated for LED loads, so check your existing dimmer is LED compatible before fitting.
Where It Works Best
These are a good match for chandeliers, wall lights and any multi arm fitting that takes G9 capsule bulbs, particularly where you want a warmer, more flexible light than a fixed brightness bulb can give. Because they are IP20 rated, they are for indoor use only and not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor fittings or anywhere exposed to damp.
