The Fizz table lamp is built around a bubbled, ball shaped glass base finished in a warm metallic copper, so light glows softly between each raised bubble when it's switched on. It's a lamp that still looks like a piece of decor even before you turn it on.

The copper glass base is topped with a black faux silk drum shade that has a copper coloured inner lining, which reflects a warm tone back down onto the base when lit. The contrast of dark shade and metallic copper base gives the Fizz a slightly glamorous feel without being fussy.

• Takes 1 x E27 bulb, around 6W LED (60W incandescent equivalent), not included, so you can choose your preferred warmth and brightness
• Simple in line switch on the cable for easy on and off control
• Class II double insulated construction, no earth connection required
• Rests freestanding on any flat surface, no fixing or installation needed

Where It Works Best

At around 43.5cm tall, the Fizz works well as a single statement lamp on a living room console or sideboard, or as a matching pair on bedside tables either side of a bed.

This lamp comes from Searchlight Electric, founded in Salford in 1945 by Sidney Hamburger. The company moved to Manchester in 1949 and remains family owned, now run by the third generation.
