Searchlight Feather 10 Light Pendant - Polished Brass

The Feather 10 light pendant is the largest version of Searchlight's Feather design, a cascade of frosted glass shaped and ribbed like feathers, hung from ten separate arms that fan out from a central brass frame. It reads more like a sculptural centrepiece than a conventional light fitting.

In Polished Brass

The polished brass frame catches and throws back the light from each of the ten bulbs, while the frosted glass feathers soften it into a warm, layered glow. It is a fixture built for rooms with height and space to spare, somewhere it can hang as the obvious focal point rather than compete with everything else around it.

How It Works

• Takes 10 x E14 candle bulbs (not supplied); we would suggest around 6W LED (60W incandescent equivalent) per bulb for a warm, even glow across all ten arms
• Height is adjustable, up to 190cm on its chain, so it can be hung to suit different ceiling heights
• Spans 60cm across at its widest point
• Dimmable, provided you use dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch
• Frame in steel, shades in frosted glass

Where It Works Best

Suited to spaces with a bit of drama already built in, a stairwell, a double height entrance hall, or above a large dining table where its scale becomes part of the room rather than something to work around. Because it hangs on an adjustable chain, it can be set lower over a table or higher in an open stairwell.

• Wipe the glass feathers gently with a soft, dry cloth, avoid household glass cleaners on the frosted finish
