Will this bulb fit any light fitting with an E27 socket?
Yes. This lamp has a standard E27 screw fitting, so it will fit any pendant, wall light or table lamp designed to take an E27 bulb where the bulb is on show.
Can I use this bulb with a dimmer switch?
Yes. It is dimmable, but only when paired with a dimmer switch designed for LED bulbs, such as a V-Pro rotary dimmer. Using it with a dimmer built for older halogen or incandescent bulbs may cause flickering.
What does the 1800K colour temperature mean?
1800K is a very warm amber tone, similar to candlelight or a traditional filament bulb. It reads warmer and more golden than the 2700K soft white most household bulbs use.
Can I use this bulb outdoors?
No. This bulb is rated IP20, which means it is for indoor use only and should not be fitted anywhere it could be exposed to rain or damp.
Is this bulb bright enough to use as a main light?
At 120 lumens it gives a soft, low level glow rather than bright general lighting, so it works best in decorative fittings or alongside other light sources rather than as the sole light in a room.
