The Searchlight Carmel LED Ceiling Pendant is a sculptural piece built from interlocking oval rings, finished in gold with warm brass tones. An integrated LED engine runs inside the rings themselves, so there's no visible bulb, just a continuous line of warm light tracing the shape. This is also a genuinely large fixture, with a width of 74.5cm, a length of 80cm and a drop that adjusts up to 120cm, so it reads as a real statement piece rather than a subtle accent.

How It Works
It uses an integrated LED, not replaceable, and is not dimmable. The drop is adjustable at installation to suit your ceiling height. As a Class I fixture it needs to be earthed, so installation by a qualified electrician is required.

How big is the Carmel pendant?
It measures 74.5cm wide and 80cm long, with a fixture height of 24cm. The drop is adjustable at installation up to a maximum of 120cm, so it's worth checking these measurements against your ceiling and the space below before you order.
Can the drop be adjusted after it's installed?
The drop is set at the point of installation by your electrician, who can position it anywhere up to the maximum of 120cm to suit your ceiling height. It isn't designed to be readjusted afterwards without taking the fixture down again.
Can I replace the LED if it stops working?
No. The Carmel has an integrated LED engine built into the fixture rather than a separate bulb, so it isn't designed to be swapped out. Searchlight's 1 year warranty covers the fixture if a fault develops.
Is this pendant dimmable?
No, this model runs at a fixed brightness and isn't compatible with a dimmer switch.
Where does this pendant work best in a room?
Given its wide, sculptural shape, it works best somewhere with room for it to spread out, such as above a dining table, a kitchen island, or a living room seating area, rather than a tight or narrow space.
