The Searchlight Carisbrooke is an LED bathroom wall light in gold with an opal glass shade, giving a soft, even glow that's well suited to a splash prone bathroom wall.
Materials and finish
The fixture is made from mild steel and glass, finished in gold and brass, with an opal glass shade.
How it works
It has an integrated LED that isn't replaceable, putting out 1068 lumens at a warm 2700K colour temperature, and can be dimmed if you fit a compatible dimmer, which is not supplied. As a Class II, double insulated fixture, it doesn't need an earth connection, though as a hardwired wall light it should still be connected by a qualified electrician.
Where it works best
With an IP44 rating, the Carisbrooke is designed for bathrooms. UK bathrooms are divided into zones with different minimum IP rating requirements depending on proximity to water, so check bathroom lighting zones and regulations for your bathroom before ordering.
