A Warm Brass Glow for Porches and Front Doors
The Browside Round is an outdoor wall light with a solid brass body and a ribbed glass diffuser, giving a warm, traditional glow to a front door, porch or garden wall.
Materials and Finish
Made from solid brass with a ribbed glass diffuser, finished in a gold brass tone that will age gracefully outdoors.
How It Works
It takes a single E27 GLS bulb (not supplied) and works with dimmable LED bulbs via a suitable rotary dimmer switch. The fitting is wired to Class I, so it needs to be earthed and installed by a qualified electrician.
Where It Works Best
Rated IP64, this light is fully suited to exposed exterior walls, entrances and porches where a traditional brass lantern style is wanted.

Is the Browside Round suitable for an exposed exterior wall?
Yes. It has an IP64 rating, which means it is protected against dust and powerful water jets from any direction, so it copes well with an exposed wall as well as a covered porch or doorway.
Does it come with a bulb?
No. It takes a single E27 GLS bulb, which is not included, so you will need to fit your own.
Can I use it with a dimmer switch?
Yes, as long as you fit a dimmable LED bulb and pair it with a compatible rotary dimmer switch, such as a V-Pro Rotary Dimmer.
Do I need an electrician to install it?
The fitting is wired to Class I, which means it must be earthed, so installation by a qualified, ideally NICEIC registered, electrician is recommended.
