The Brookhill effect bar spotlight combines a chrome frame with an acrylic shade and an integrated LED, giving a crisp linear look overhead. Its IP44 rating means it can handle a bit of steam and splash, making it a good fit for bathrooms as well as kitchens.
Materials and finish
Made from mild steel and acrylic, finished in chrome.
How it works
Fitted with an integrated LED that is not replaceable, producing 1400 lumens. It is not dimmable and runs at a warm 3000K colour temperature. This is a Class II, double insulated fixture, so no earth connection is needed, though it should still be wired in by a competent person.
Where it works best
With an IP44 rating, this bar spotlight is suited to bathrooms as well as general indoor spaces. As UK bathrooms are divided into zones with different minimum IP rating requirements depending on how close a fitting is to water, it's worth confirming your bathroom zone against the bathroom lighting zones and regulations before ordering.
