The Bordo II Square is a slim, upright wall light that turns a plain exterior wall into something considered. Its clean edged bar shape and sand textured black finish give it a modern, architectural look that works as well beside a front door as it does lining a garden wall or the edge of a pergola.

This length is finished in a sand textured black powder coat over a metal body, paired with a diffused acrylic panel that runs down each long edge. When lit, light spills out gently from both sides of the bar rather than glaring from one point, so you get a soft vertical glow rather than a hard beam of light.

Where It Works Best

Can I change the colour temperature after it is fitted?
Yes. A slide switch built into the fixture lets you choose between 2700K, 3000K and 4000K at any time, so you are not locked into one setting once it is installed.

Is this light suitable for a coastal or exposed spot?
It carries an IP65 rating, which means it is protected against dust and rain from any direction, so it suits typical UK outdoor use. Very exposed coastal sites are still harder on any metal fixture, so ask your installer if you are close to the sea.

Can I fit more than one on the same wall?
Yes. At 8cm wide, several can be spaced along a wall, or mounted in a vertical pair per position, to build up the layered look shown in the outdoor photography.

Do I need an electrician to install it?
Yes. This is a Class I, mains wired fitting, so it should be connected by a qualified electrician rather than treated as a plug in light.
